Head of Discoverability

About the role:

unybrands is seeking a Senior Account Executive of Discoverability who has expertise in building world-class growth strategy and execution skills to drive growth on Amazon through listing optimization. In order to be successful, you will build a team of high-performers, coordinate working with external agencies and marketing partners to enhance the discoverability of the brands we operate on Amazon. You will own and build the growth plans for each brand incorporating inputs such as pricing and product strategy, inventory assessment and forecasting, marketing mix, and customer experience.

Responsibilities include-but not limited to:

Growth Strategy

  • Provide inputs to determine the category, country, and marketing mix for each brand

  • Provide inputs into the process of performing diligence on potential acquisitions on their growth potential

  • Own unified growth plans to enhance discoverability across all brands

  • Develop a playbook and build long term capabilities to onboard brands onto the unybrands platform

  • Develop x-brand strategy


  • Own and manage the performance of brands viz a viz listing optimization, A+ content, and other customer-facing content on Amazon like videos and images

  • Perform analytically driven keyword research and manage the process of updating content

  • Analyze review scores, and own customer communication process through Q&A and other such methods-coordinate with your team or other customer service reps to take action

  • Build a process to measure the impact of changes and report on them

  • Test hypothesis to build a playbook of scalable and repeatable best practices-incorporate them

  • Work with analytics, tech, or agency partners to build reporting and insights capabilities to enhance operational excellence

  • Build and test GTM plans for new product launches on Amazon


  • Provide subject matter expertise on the best practices and be the first to know (and act on) upcoming Amazon platform changes

  • Manage direct reports and external partners against KPIs

  • Build your team, hire external vendors, Account Executive relationships

  • Build processes, best practices, and culture of test and learn

  • Provide strategic inputs into product strategy, inventory planning, and pricing

A successful team member will have:

  • 5+ years of growth marketing experience with a focus on SEO or performance marketing for DTC brands

  • 2+ years of relevant Amazon experience preferred

  • Bachelor's degree is required. Master's degree in relevant field preferred

  • Experience in leading teams or managing agencies

  • Strong domain knowledge of Amazon e-ecosystem, or Amazon listing optimization, or SEO

  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen

  • Ability to be hands-on as well as strategic
