Brand Manager

About the role:

The Brand Manager will be responsible for coordinating the growth and health of a portfolio of brands we own, which operate across Amazon and additional DTC platforms. In order to achieve growth, she/he will play a pivotal role in coordinating the pricing and product strategy, inventory assessments & forecasting, marketing, and customer service, while working alongside other functional experts to ensure the brands grow profitably.

Responsibilities include-but not limited to:

  • Drive transition plans to post-acquisition to ensure a smooth handoff across the unybrands Investment & Integration team and the Seller

  • Develop and execute holistic growth plans to ensure revenue metrics are met

  • Work with e-commerce and marketing teams and external agencies to communicate and monitor overall performance to the plan

  • Proactively track the progress towards the plan on a daily/weekly/monthly basis and build a mechanism to communicate regularly on the progress and risks

  • Be responsible for the day-to-day business across your brand(s)

  • Manage virtual assistants and other employees focused on brand operations (e.g., inventory management, customer service, etc.)

  • Work with Supply Chain management to manage inventory levels and prevent stockouts

  • Build a go-to-market strategy to help with brand expansion, including new products, geographies, and sales channels in consultations with various functional owners

  • Coordinate launch and testing of new products and/or new marketplaces for multiple brands

A successful team member will have:

  • 3+ years of experience in category management, vendor management, or project management in e-commerce, preferably within the Amazon ecosystem

  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms like Amazon’s Seller Central, Google Shopping, vendor management tools, etc.

  • Good understanding of e-commerce operations across the supply chain, marketing, brand development, and pricing

  • Ability to work through data points, analyze and draw conclusions to inform executive decisions

  • Demonstrated the skills to manage multiple projects, handle aggressive deadlines, prioritize workflow and be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, finance, or a related field
